With this baby ive been wanting to have sex the whole time.. But im getting to the point were im scared to. With my first my hubby wouldn't come near me he was afraid something was gonna happen. This time around hes been going along with it. But now im like omg can i hurt the baby,well this cause labor?Should i just stop while im ahead of am i safe? So my question is are you still having sex or is that a foreign thing to you? and are you not on bottom anymore? Suggestions please!!!

I'm kinda in your same boat - although about a week ago my "desire" has decreased (finally) - my OB once mentioned as long as there's no complications and you're comfortable - have at it! It can also speed things along toward the end when you're anxious and baby is just not wanting to come out!  I say listen to your body - but there is a low risk you'll end up hurting baby - that's of course if your not trying to do acrobatics! :P

We were having sex pretty regularly up until a few weeks ago. I'd be on bottom sometimes - DF would just support himself with his arms. Now with all the blood pressure crap going on with me, I'm scared to even mention sex anymore. I'm not sure if it's safe for us at this point.

I'd say if you're not having an issues with your pregnancy though, you're fine to have sex all the way up until your due date. Just talk to your doc.

We are still having sex...definitely not as regularly, but at least 1-2 times a week.  I can't be on the bottom anymore because my belly is too big, but we usually find some other semi-creative way.  I can't get *there* anymore, which makes me really sad, but I do it for my hubby because I always feel closer to him afterwards.  And he finds other ways to take care of me so I am satisfied too

We're still having sex 1-2 times a week. Last week, DH was on top for the first time in a while and he kind of leaned to one side. I'm usually on top though.

I never feel like having sex if I don't feel attractive, and I haven't felt attractive for about a year since I started taking thyroid medicine and gained 30lbs in a few months. And that was pre-pregnancy. It's not like this giant belly is making the situation better....

You're safe to have sex if it's comfortable for you.

yeah... we have only had sex about once a month since finding out I was expecting. If DH could have his way we would be doing it all the time. But I too am too worried that it is going to hurt the baby or make me go into labor or something, sooo I just don't bring it up and try to avoid it.
