Diaper Pail rec

I was going to go with the Diaper Genie but now I'm not sure. No particular reason for my doubts, I think it just occurred to me I never really researched anything else. Does someone have something besides the Genie? and would you buy it again if you had to? I'm eyeing the diaper champ as well.

I was going to go with the Diaper Genie since its available at all the stores I registered at, however I just moved to Ireland (long story) and that particular brand isn't available here. The one I bought is Tommee Tippee and it seems like it is made very well, good price, etc.

Honestly I think anything of that sort will do just fine, but definitely get something other than just a trash can so you don't have to smell it. We got the Arm & Hammer name brand, but like I said I think it's 6 to 1 half dozen the other.

I had a Diaper Genie with DS. It was OKAY. I don't have any experience with other diaper pails, but I just got tired of emptying it out. It stank when it was opened, and it was just more of a hassle than anything else. With this LO, I'm just going to put all diapers straight in the dumpster.

Two of my SILs have the Diaper Champ Deluxe and love it! I've used theirs when changing their kids and they were nice and didn't smell as bad as some others. And a plus: you can use any regular trash bag! No need to buy special bags!

BRU carries one under their brand that looks similar to the Champ but the reviews were better. You could use regular trash bags with those as well. I went ahead and added it to the registry while I mull it over.
