Good morning,
I am new to this blog. I would just like to hear some similar stories or what happened to others with clomid/provera. My story is that I am 24 years old and my DH are TTC. I got off the pill in December, and I didn't have a period until april when my doctor put me on provera. Its June, and still no period. I went for my annual pap yesterday, and my doctor told me my options of either 1. getting back on bcp which would not give us a baby or 2. Getting my DH's sperms checked, I will get a HSG, and then I will start on clomid. I am on provera right now to start my period, so we can do the Xray on CD 5. Does anyone have any experience with this? Success rate? Was the HSG painful? Any words of wisdom, I would really appreciate..
Re: New...Clomid/Provera
Welcome. You may certainly lost here but the TTTC board may have more women in your situation, and below is their FAQ. We are generally all seeing REs and doing IUI and IVF on this board. I highly recommend seeing an RE for treatment over an GYN, the quality of care is often very different.

I thought the HSG was a bit uncomfortable but it was over quickly. There are people that have a very difficult time. But the majority of women have no problems and my advice is to not get worked up over a few bad experiences. You will get upset over everything, because someone somewhere has had a bad experience with every aspect of ART. Unless the procedure unlocks your tubes, you won't have any pregnancies as a result of it, and for pregnancy stories in general, the PAIF or SAIF boards are the ones to ask on, as most of us here have no children. If by success you mean, the specialist was able to evaluate my tubes and uterus, then yes, mine was a success.
Provera was able to produce a bleed after my oddball anovulatory cycle and is a common Rx. Progesterone: https://www.wdxcyber.com/nmood11.htm
