I'm curious when you knew you had twins/triplets in there. When I went for my u/s they saw one healthy baby and one sac that they couldn't see anything in. He said it may be too early, but at 6w, I would have thought he would have seen something.  Just curious what others have experienced.

My first u/s was at 7w2d and we found out then that we were having twins.

We saw at first u/s 6w4d. We were able to hear the hb's as well.

My first u/s was at 7w1d, and we found out then we were having identical twins (one sac, two heartbeats).

our first u/s was 6w0d and we saw two sacs, one HB.  RE said that the second sac was "definitely not empty" and he kept thinking he might see something beating but there was nothing conclusive.  he recorded it as one HB, 2 sacs.  next u/s 7w0d we saw both HBs!

At 6 weeks exactly we saw 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats but the heartbeats had probably just started beating within the day or 2 before.

At 6w4d we saw both sacs and heart both heartbeats.  One sac was measuring smaller than the other, but by 7w4d everything looked good!

At 6w2d, we saw 3 sacs and 1 heartbeat.  They couldn't really tell if anything was going on in the other 2 sacs.  I went back at 6w6d and there were 3 sacs and 2 heartbeats.  The 3rd sac continued to grow a little, but never developed a baby.  We had to wait until about 7w6d to find out it was definitely twins and not triplets.  There's most definitely still a chance the second sac could develop.  Good luck!

We saw both sacs around 5 weeks in the ER - I had OHSS.  We confirmed it was twins with two heartbeats at 7w1d.

At my first u/s we saw 4 sacs and 2 h/b.  We went back a few weeks later and only 2 had made it.

At my first u/s at 5w2d there were two sacs....at 6w2d there were three sacs but only two had heartbeats and baby parts.  The third was empty and we were basically told it will not become anything.  I don't go back until 8w2d so I have a while to wait to see how they're doing!

Heyyyy, congrats!!! We found out it was twins at 6.5 weeks. It was our first ultrasound and they saw two little beating orbs in there. It was so exciting.
