I think this is the right place for this question. My friend is having a baby shower this weekend and I unfortunatly will be working all day Saturday and I can't make it. We've already planned to have lunch in a few weeks and I was hoping to give her her baby shower gift at lunch, but I have NO idea how to tell whats already been purchased by other people! Is there any way to find out, besides asking, cause thats weird. I don't want to get her something that 5 other people also got her lol Or is that ok as long as I put the reciept in the box? Or should I get a gift card for her 2 registry places? I have never done the baby shower thing so Im very lost!

Just ask stores associate and they will help you.

But, the registry will say something like "Wants" and "Has." On Targets registry, it will say fulfilled if it has been purchased.
