Prepared Childbirth classes

DH and I start our first class tomorrow night! SO excited! Any other first time moms signed up or started theirs yet?

We opted for the 6 week class that will be one night a week for 2 hours. The class includes a tour of the hospital too which I'm very excited to see...I've only seen the OR which was for my D & C last August.

Cant believe we only have 10 weeks to go!

DH and I start ours a week from tomorrow! So exciting! It's an 8 week course though, so we're cutting it a bit close...I hope we'll make it to those last courses!

We start our hospital's "Prepared Childbirth" tomorrow too! Ours is only 2 sessions that last 3 hrs each.

We just finished up our Bradley Birth Classes last week. Learned TONS!

Ours is July 21... We did the 1 day 8 hour class.. SO works 6 on 2 off  so we woildnt be able to attend the multiple week classes. But I have my hospital tour on Friday! SO had the weekend off, but his rotation got changed, so now it's me and my BFF going.

I'm doing a 4 week class starting June 19th. It includes a hospital tour during the 3rd week. The hospital I'm delivering at just opened last month. I'm very excited to see what it all looks like!

Our Birth Center is 40 min. away, so we opted for a weekend class so we wouldn't have to drive out there 4 times during the week during rush hour (which inevitably would take us 1 1/2 hours to get there, ugh!). Anyway, our classes our this Saturday and Sunday, 10 am o 4 pm...DH is so not looking forward to it, lol!

We just took our 4th (out of 5) class tonight.  I have thoroughly enjoyed them and have learned tons!  During our last class next week, we are taking the hospital tour.  So excited!

We started ours last weekend and will finish this weekend. It is 2, 4hr classes. It was pretty good and I'm glad we enrolled as we learned a lot of techniques, breathing exercises etc. it really helped DH as he is a little clueless about what goes on during labor. I did not enjoy watching the birth videos, very graphic and kind of gross, especially the delivery if the placenta!  However I guess at least I know what to expect :-/

Mine starts tomorrow night.  It feels so weird that every different step we take feels like things are getting so much more real.  I know that sounds bizarre, but it really does feel that way.  I put together a swing last night and thought, "Wow, there's going to be a baby in there very soon!"

We had our first one last night.  DH was dragging his feet, but I was super excited.  I was a little disappointed how superficial the class was yesterday, they really didnt tell me anything I didnt learn in high school health class.  Next week we get into breathing and pain coping techniques so I'm hoping it gets a lot better.
