Umass Memorial Birthing
Hi I will be having our baby boy at Umass Memorial in late September...I am wondering if they have hot tubs that women can birth in? Not a water birth...just to be in up until its almost time...Also if anyone else has delivered there?
I have a 7yr old daughter but gave birth to her at Hartford Hosp because I am originally from CT. So Umass will be new for me...also do they give tours? I would love to see the unit prior.

I just had a baby their in April. I also had my second child there in 2010. I'm not positive but I don't think they have hot tubs, neither of my rooms had them, just showers.
Also they definitely do give tours, we went on one before our son was born. It was nice to see everything before we got there when I was in labor. I enjoyed both of my births and stays there, everyone was super nice and extremely helpful. Good luck to you!
