First gift for baby, and it gets real for DH.

I woke up this morning to an e-mail from our www.myregistry.com registry...very first baby gift was purchased, yay!  I'm guessing it was MIL since it was our carseat...and she called yesterday asking for help on how to get on the site...lol!  Yay for a practical and needed gift too!

Now I have to figure out how to stop having those e-mails sent...I'm a bad enough registry stalker as it is.

On another note...DH had an "it just got real moment." He always jokes about forgetting that we are pregnant, or not knowing how it happened.  This was our conversation this morning:

DH: let me guess, you're on the bump

Me: yep, I just love baby stuff!  Which is a pretty good thing because we're going to have one here pretty soon! 

DH: Really?  When's that gonna happen?  (totally joking, of course.)

Me:  I dunno...but it's going to be sometime in the next 10-12 weeks!

DH: (with eyes wide as saucers an all color drained from his face) Seriously?  Oh man! 

Can't wait to see what happens when we take our birthing classes next weekend, haha!

haha, DH has had this moment recently too. DH asked me "so, how much longer until I meet my little princess" and without thinking (I had just been on TB) I said "75 days, give or take one or two" He stopped dead and was like "What? Are you kidding me? That's like no time at all!"  haha.

Congrats on the car seat!!

And my DH had one of those moments the other day. He was driving home from work & I told him over the phone, "We could have our baby next month!" He went completely silent, then, "I need to pull over..." Haha!! He didn't, but he said it completely floored him to think of it that way!

Yay practical gifts!!
My hubs was like next month will be the last major holiday before my son comes! He's so ready to see if he sons looks like him..considering how strong his family genes are it'll be interesting because mine are strong too. Though he's not ready for Thanksgiving when he'll have to fight his family to hold his son lol...

So funny the same thing happened with my hubby this week! I was like she could be here anywhere from 6-10 weeks!

Our classes start tuesday so I am curious what happens too!

My DH hasn't had a lot of urgency this PG and would always say "we have plenty of time" but on Friday he started freaking out saying "Omigod, it's June 1st and you're due August 1st.  That means we only have 2 months left!"  Umm yeah...
