Cloth Diapering

Question about BG 4.0

I just started my research on CDing and I have quite some time to do some more but I just have a quesion about these cd.

Do these need a cover over them?  I was looking into the  BG freetime AIO which I know don't, but have heard that these can be bulky so I was thinking to get a few of each.

TIA!

Re: Question about BG 4.0

  • BG 4.0's are pocket diapers, so they come with the "cover" (the pocket) and two inserts. They are pretty similar to the Freetime, except the freetime ones have the insert attached.

  • 96% of my stash is a mix of BG diapers.  Right now I'm loving the Elementals b/c as a working mom I dont have time to stuff the pockets.

  • Like the others have mentioned BG 4.0's are a pocket diaper, so you put the inserts in the pocket and you're good to go, no cover needed.

Most of my stash is made of this diaper. I think they're great!

  • We exclusively use BG 4.0 and love them. Never had a single leak! (No cover needed either) The snaps are much better IMO, but the hook and loop are much easier for people that aren't accustomed to cloth.
