Sophie the giraffe

Talk to me about Sophie the Giraffe. I've seen a couple pictures of LO's with her and am wondering if she is as wonderful as she is made out to be. DD is on the verge of teething and loves to chew on anything she can stuff in her mouth. I've tried a couple other teethers but she can't hang on to them or just doesn't like them. Is it worth it to get a Sophie?

Dd doesn't really care for hers, though the dog goes bonkers for it.

Charlie likes his Sophie, but I wouldn't say it is the best. I think he likes it because it is easy to hold onto. I think it is a good teether, but maybe not worth the price-- I got it as a gift. He will chew on just about anything I give him, but can handle the giraffe pretty well.

We have one. It's definatly chewy! She does seem to like it but is still having a hard time bringing things to her mouth and holding them there for a long time( she just started this last week). I think in a few weeks she will hold things longer... Might be the same with your baby if she is the same age. It was on sale for about $16 a few weeks ago on amazon. I'm not sure I would pay full price.

Sophie works well for us because it's pretty much the only toy that he can get into his mouth and keep there. It's also flexible so it can reach his back gums. Most teethers seem to be hard and round and he just can't chew them very well yet. Sophie is much easier for him to use.

This. DS will chew on anything, but with Sophie, he can hang onto her longer than other teething toys. We got it as a shower gift, however, I don't think I would pay full price for it.

I got mine as a gift. I didn't realize it was expensive.

DS likes his, but he likes most of his toys. The legs are nice and small so they are easy to grab.

I got one for DH with a BRU gift card. He likes it alright...I think he will like it more when he can hold it in his mouth. However, like PP said, our dog goes nuts over it.

We have both of these also, and DD loves them! And we have the bath toy for when she starts playing in the tub
