"Friday fun-share" a little early?

Since I'm on the West coast, by the time I get my posts up on Friday, a lot of you ladies are gone already, so I thought I'd post this now. Does anyone want to "share the love" about their job/career? Did anyone have anything fun happen or does anyone have anything to brag about that happened this week? I've had a great week, and I'm sure some of you have, too!

I thought this might be a positive since last week's post was the "bad boss stories." Just an idea!

    I like your idea!

    I had an impromptu meeting with my boss on Tuesday - I literally had no clue it was coming - and was informed I'm getting a raise and also a pretty nice bonus. It made my week!

    I work in a university setting.  Seeing students that I've worked with complete their degree about two weeks ago! A very rewarding and heart warming feeling.

    This is my first week back since having #3 and it's good to be back!  The first day was a little weird, but I'm in the groove now and loving it again.

    I got a faculty teaching award yesterday, and the student who nominated me wrote this: 

    "Her class is so much more than the typical writing class I expected. She has expanded my entire view of the world around me and has been a shining light for the dark, gloomy, and often forgotten less fortunate people in our world/society."

    I was so touched! :-)
