Natural Birth

Followup: Birth Plan Critique

I took my plan in to discuss with my doctor yesterday, there were a few things he said "we can do this up to a point, but if the situation changes, we can't", which is fine and I completely understand and expected (I know the plan is just an ideal, and situations can change things). The vast majority of things he was completely on board with though! Yay! He seems very supportive of natural birth, and was telling about about the birth balls and everything they have to aid in natural labor/delivery.

Per suggestions made in my other thread, I will shorten it and try to make my wording more positive for the "nurse version" to have on-hand during delivery.

  • awesome!  I am also in KC, which hospital are you delivering at?  I'm going to St Lukes South, a couple of friends had great med free births there.
