Thank you, George!

George Washington Carver is my hero. Seriously, if it wasnt for peanutbutter I dont know how I would survive pregnancy.  Good stuff!

Re: Thank you, George!

  • You should probably thank John Kellogg then...GWC didn't invent peanut butter. Wink With you, though. I love a good PBJ.

ETA: With grape jelly. Always with grape jelly.

Actually, the ancient Incas were the first to grind up peanuts and use it as a spread.  But Carver made peanut butter prior to John Kellogg, he just didn't patent it.

But I agree on the deliciousness factor. It's my go-to source of protein right now!

Mmm me too! I've really been digging PB, especially with chocolate. And sorry, blind victory, but PBJs should only be made with strawberry preserves.

I can't stand preserves...anything with seeds or chunky bits makes me gag. But oddly enough, I love crunchy PB. I'm a weirdo.

  • You all suck! :( I want a pb&j so bad!

I am allergic to peanuts and have been craving a pb&j sandwich for 5 months now!

Now hopefully while you ladies are enjoying your pb&j with or without preservatives you think of me lol

  • mmmm PB&J...I feel like a 5-year-old every time I eat one, but there's just nothing better sometimes. I'm totally on team preserves.
