First off - it can quickly become an addiction. Sounds impossible but you have no idea how awesome CDing is and how cute fluffy butt can be. You have been warned.
Second and mostly - I just wanted to make things clicky for you...

Jewerner - Lady! Call me or text me with questions! I love to talk CDs!
My family is a Foreign Service family. Families like mine are posted in every corner of the globe. We live our lives away from family, friends and the conviences and comforts of home. We often live and work in dangerous places among those that misunderstand our intentions and purposes. Sometimes members of our ranks sacrifice our lives to further diplomacy. Please remember that we serve too. And I'm always open to questions.
Re: ***Preggers and Jewerner*** and others with CD questions..
OK. It turns out that Modern Cloth Diapers changed the way you can select things for the trial. It is now way more complicated. The heck with that.
Soooo. I went with Diaper Daisy.

Click on the View/Hide Options to see what I put in the trial. I didn't go with the cheapest options but I did make sure to choose two of everything: All in Ones, Pockets, All in Two and Prefolds/Fitteds with Covers. I tried to select diapers that seem to work well for almost everyone but are not necessarily the cheapest.
For example, the Blueberry Pocket $23.95 and the Bummis Easy Fit $23.95 are very well loved diapers but are much pricier than the the Thirsties pocket which have mixed reviews.
There is a choice between snaps and velcro closures. Most dads seem to prefer the velcro because it is most like a disposable BUT these don't last as long as snaps because they lose their sticky, LOs eventually learn how to remove velcro diapers and they tend to chain up in the wash. I LOVE snaps and have every confidence that your DH can figure snaps out.
Also - this trial rocks because you get fantastic choices for an All in Two system which might meet your needs best. The Flip, Grovia and Best Bottom systems are all super popular. Flips tend to work slightly better on a chunkier baby and the Grovia on a skinny minny. Eowyn is, I am figuring out, pretty skinny so I do not prefer diapers that don't have a leg guesset. Flip covers do not but they are well loved. The guesset hold all the poop in when the LOs are having one of those poopie days.
