I have no idea, but it's hideous and the poor child is going to be made fun of and have her name misprounounced constantly... It sounds more like ebonics versus slavic, seriously! People never cease to amaze me.
Chemical Pregnancy 5.2011. BFP 9.2011 MC @ 8.5w D&C 11.4.2011 sweet pea is always in our hearts.
BFP 3.23.2012! Our baby turkey is due 11.22.2012!

I can't think of any Western language where "KH" is a frequent pairing. That's why the name Khloe always makes my eyes bleed. They just subbed out the C for a K, forgetting that the "h" now serves no linguistic purpose (never mind the fact that Khlo? Kardashian also inexplicably includes an accent over the e, even though the emphasis is on the first syllable.....but I digress!).
Maybe your friend saw the Polish spelling, liked it, and and left the vestigial H in there without thinking about it.
Re: Khrystyna
Yes Christina is a real name. That is an atrocious spelling. I think my eyes are bleeding.
I should have said, "Is this a legit spelling or is it uneek?" I'll edit.
Well, Nymbler called it " a girls name. A very unique name." so, yes unique spelling.
Such a pity.
BWAHAHAHAHA this!
