...but I am crossing my legs and praying that I am still pregnant this time next week. I had my weekly appt today and arrived to find out that my MW got called to SOUTH AFRICA on a family emergency!! Her dad had a heart attack so she had to go. My practice is one MW and one OB. I am a VBAC and she swore she would be the one to deliver unless a c/s is needed. Obviously this is a totally unforseen circumstance so I am praying that baby boy hangs in for another week. I am sure he will but my luck works in Murphy's Law terms. I am 3cm with 50% effacement as of today, last week I was 1-1.5cm. Hopefully he will hang out until she gets back...I know all will be fine either way, I will just be disappointed.
Re: I NEVER thought I would say this....
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
We told baby he/she had to stay put through today for DH's work, and baby was compliant. I hope your little munchkin is just as cooperative for you.
Hang in there, mama. Lie down as often as you can.
Is the OB VBAC supportive at all? If not, I guess you have to plan to show up pushing.
That really sucks.
I am a week behind you...but praying this baby stays in until next Monday (June 11). I live in MA, and traveling to NY for a wedding that I AM IN!
I really want to be able to still be in the wedding, and only baby can determine that for me ! I have an appointment today, so hopefully she'll do a cervical check to see how things look!
Good luck to you, and crossings my fingers you get the VBAC!!
Yes, He is VBAC supportive but I think he'd be quicker to push the c/s than my MW and I just like/feel more comfortable with my MW than with him. He's fine and all but I would just prefer her.
How about we make a deal, I'll go ahead and have my baby early so you can hang on to yours for another week.
I WISH!!

Can I be in on this deal?
