nbr- there's mold growing in my car! any tips?

yes. its disgusting.  I have NO idea how it happened (gosh I feel like a slob, I promise I'm not!) if I had to guess DS spilled something onto the carpet on the floor (not the removable one) He never has milk in the car so I really don't know what it is.

anyway, who has any tips on how to clean it?? I don't really want to just dump bleach on it with no other way to remove/ launder it properly.

I would try getting some kind of carpet shampoo and scrub it with a stiff brush, and then prop a fan in there and make sure it gets really well dried. Push comes to shove, you could always get it professionally detailed. GL!

I'd go to a pro.  A detail place should be able to clean it properly.

My H and I have been flipping cars for years, we usually just rent one of those carpet shampooers from Ace Hardware (they have them at any hardware place though, like Home Depot) and you'd be amazed the stuff that you can get out of a cars carpet! I would just use bleach in the water, nothing fancy, and it worked great.
