Since my LO has had total sleep regression this past week we decided to try losing the swaddle to see if that would help. He was up probably 5 times between 7-12. We ditched the swaddle at 12 and he fidgeted in his crib until 1 then started crying. Out of desperation we reswaddled him and he slept until 5. So, big fail!!!!
He hasn't rolled yet so there is no real immediacy to get rid of the swaddle. I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks they will have to swaddle their LO until college like me????
This sleep regression is killing me....I feel like a zombie.

Ya know...I might be with this plan. We swaddle one arm and she sleeps in her RnP at night. But she is STTN more often than not so why fix what ain't broken?!
My family is a Foreign Service family. Families like mine are posted in every corner of the globe. We live our lives away from family, friends and the conviences and comforts of home. We often live and work in dangerous places among those that misunderstand our intentions and purposes. Sometimes members of our ranks sacrifice our lives to further diplomacy. Please remember that we serve too. And I'm always open to questions.
This exactly! We tried to swaddle with both arms out, and it was a disaster! He loves to have one arm in.
