When did you start to notice that your LO had a consistent social smile. I'm talking every time you talk and smile at them they smile back. I have seen DD smile here and there for 2 weeks now but when I try to talk to her and smile at her she just stares at me like I'm strange! What gives?

My son does the same thing!!!  He did give a huge smile last night at my mom's house when I was talking to him -- and then he smiled big for her this morning when I dropped him off -- but it's not very consistent yet. He will be 9 weeks old tomorrow - but was born 4 weeks premature -- so technically he is 5weeks old...I'm hoping it gets more consistent soon!

My son also does the same thing. He did last night give "me" a smile for the first time. I tried to get him to do it again this morning and he looked at me like I'm crazy. Lol. He smiles at the ceiling fan and the picture above his changing table all the time. Guess they are more interesting than me!
