Goodness! I'm not ready for this!

Chloe learned to roll from her back to her belly the day before her 3 month birthday. Soon after that she rolled just once or twice from her belly to her back, but it was clearly accidental. Every time I'd put her down on her back, she'd go straight to her belly, and that's where she'd stay.

Well, this week, she's started rolling a little more frequently belly to back (couple of times per day). So, I figured it wouldn't be long before she'd figure out it was a mode of transportation.

Last night, I put her down on her play mat on the living room floor. I turned away for just a minute, and when I looked back she was almost to the dining room! She was doing fine til that silly old wall got in her way. I don't think she realizes that she's controlling which direction she's going. Right now, it's just random rolling. I bet it won't take her very long to figure it out though.

So, this morning I thoroughly vacuumed my carpet, and I guess it's time to start baby proofing!

Anyone else in this boat, too?

My DS is bit younger but today he figured out how to roll from his belly to his back. He HATES being on his tummy so it was just a matter of time until he figured out how to end it. so far he is perfectly content once he is on his back again but i bet we will be on the move soon enough
