Need a dress for a wedding!

If you are bored, can you help me find a dress for a wedding? This is what I am looking for:

Knee length (not long)

Black (or dark color - its formal)

Somewhat form-fitting (not like a wrap dress that just hangs from belly down)

I've tried Kohls, Gap, Old navy etc and I am not finding anything I love. Any help would be appreciated!

I wore this dress from Target to a $125/plate fundraiser last weekend. It doesn't look fancy in the pictures, but it looked GREAT on! I received many complements. No one would have known that it wasn't expensive OR maternity. The fabric is quite silky. I wish I had a picture from that night, because I'm a very average size for 22 weeks - I've gained 20 lbs mostly bump - and I really think it fit me better than it will when I'm not pregnant. Good luck finding something - I had a really hard time!

I just bought the dress below from White House Black Market to wear to the ballet this weekend. Very comfortable since the lining is soft and stretchy and since it isn't maternity I'm hoping to get some wear out of it after baby.

I just went to a wedding this weekend and wore a dress from Motherhood. It was pretty much exactly what u described. The top was white with black dots and the skirt was black. It was empire waist, knee length, and fitted. I loved it!

I'm wearing this one as a bridesmaid in my SIL's wedding next month. I looked all over the internet for a black cocktail dress and was surprised that my favorite one was a cheapie from Target.

this one isnt quite knee length but I tried it on for a possible bridesmaid dress and it looked great on. And the little extra bling on the shoulders is fun

My shopping tip for pea in the pod is to wait for the buy one get one free sale they have periodically, order the dress in two sizes and then return one so you get the one that fits better for half price!
