Do you need it like you can't live without it?  No.

No, we didn't use one. We used the RnP, bassinet & swing primarily while DS was a NB.

Definitely not. They're cute, but not practical.

Nope.  But we did use the bassinet feature of our stroller for about 4 weeks.

Nope and the one person I know who had one hated it.  Her DS outgrew it within a few weeks.

This definitely isn't a necessity. But I wanted one just because they're so darn cute!

I used one a few times because I had one that I bought at a charity auction before I was even pregnant. It wasn't that useful because there were so many other places in my house to put the baby down (swing, bouncer, crib, pack-n-play).

Nope! DS slept in a cradle and was carted around when he was awake or worn in my sling.

Nope. Get a rock n play instead. Same general concept, but with a lot more uses.

We used the bassinet of our stroller which is like a moses basket. My SIL has a Moses basket downstairs (bedrooms are upstairs) as a place for the baby to sleep during the day or while they eat dinner.

I didnt use one, but i think they are adorable. It would be nice if you didnt have enough room for a basinette (sp?) in your room. Also, i think it would be nice because you could move the baby from room to room in it. I personally loved my son's bouncy seat and used it all the time!

I hardly used it with DS, but I have a feeling I will be using it a lot more with this baby trying to keep it out of the reach of DS and the dogs..
