I'm 40 weeks + 5 days. Who else is with me?
I had my NST and AFI on Friday, and everything looks fine-- so I guess we're just waiting for the little one to make his/her appearance... No talk of induction over here yet, either. My next NST and check-up is tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.
How are you all doing?

I was 40 weeks yesterday (ticker is wrong).
I was 2-3 cm last Thursday at my appointment and I jumped into gear with natural induction methods, but then I got sick on Friday, and now I am just hoping I get better before the baby comes. When I had DD1 I had only a minor tear with a few stitches and I couldn't even laugh without it hurting, so I have no desire to see what it feels like to have stitches and cough!
I have another appt tomorrow where we will talk induction for later this week. My OB doesn't want me to go past 41 weeks, which is Sunday, and they don't induce on the weekends. I won't schedule an induction until I'm better though.
Hope everyone is hanging in there.
40 weeks and 4 days. Just got back from an appointment where I had an NST and an internal. Baby was a booger during the NST and shifted around so much that they had to keep repostioning the heart monitor and i had to sit there for an extra 20 mins so they could get a continuous reading. The internal was with the one doc in the practice who has man hands, Yeowch! I did progress from my Friday appointment where I was a fingertip dilated and 20%efface to 1.5 cm and 50% so here's hoping all my ball bouncing, pineapple eating, walking, EPOing is doing something. I have my u/s to check fluid levels etc on wednesdaya nd then another NST appointent on Thurs. Still no talk of induction. Phew!
I'm glad to know I'm not alone-- and everyone keeps reminding me that first-timers are often late. And that the best place for a baby is inside its mom's belly (but up to a point, right?). And so on.
So, good luck to the rest of you! We need some major labor dust for all of us! :-)
@catycombs, I hope you get your VBAC.
@mdharrison, the 28th feels like a lifetime away. My due date was the 16th, and if I were scheduled for the 28th, I would hope to go into labor naturally before then. (And odds seem pretty good-- that's still a week away!) Good luck!
@cookies+milk, feel better soon!
@tlund, sounds promising! Hope that means you're close! Good luck! Mine dropped but seems to have moved back up again. Guess I need to be more active and walk more...
@Dana&Pete, that's funny. I was more comfortable when baby dropped-- but that may be because I've been carrying REALLY high. You're lucky to be one of the few that isn't unbearably uncomfortable!
@jessica, I'm right there with you! Even though it's good that the tests came back fine, and we can just wait without being rushed into an operating room (yikes), time seems to be moving extra slowly...
We're almost there, ladies! If we can get through nine months, what's another week or two, right? ;-D

40w + 5 today too...trying not to lose it. I'm not working and didn't think I'd start to freak out but the wait is driving me insane. I'm trying to relax and be patient but it's hard.
40 weeks and 4 days here.
I had a NST and ultrasound on Friday. The monitoring went great, but we found out I am on the low end of safe for fluid levels. I have another NST and fluid check this afternoon, and hope that all looks good. I really do not want to get induced for my fluid being low. On the other hand, I cannot imagine going in to work tomorrow.
Hopefully everything will happen on it's own tonight!
Just wanted to wish you luck. I was induced for low fluid with DD1 and I had a great experience, so try not to worry!
@papeete, sending you labor dust, too!
Well, my doc is not messing around. He went ahead and scheduled my induction for Thursday morning. I guess he probably has Memorial weekend plans ; )
I really don't want to be induced, but it is kind of nice to have a definite end.
Wow, I can't believe Memorial weekend is coming up. I had no idea until my husband told me Monday was a holiday! So, ladies, let's get this show on the road and have some little ones to celebrate the three-day weekend with! Labor dust and smooth deliveries to all! :-)

40+5 here and almost 4 cm. I'm in the hospital but not for me. I spent the night with my mom who had to have surgery while she is staying with us waiting for the baby. I'm not at my hospital but I'm only a few blocks away. At this point I'm thankful that I'm still waiting and hope she can go home by tonight.
This kid is going to have a crazy birth story lead-up!
