Not a fan. I'm not really into made up names though. The -ae- combo in names bothers me, like in Jae and Rae (that's just me though). What about just Jaye Lynn? Both are legit.

I don;t think this is a made up name but I know 2 boys and 3 girls with this name. I feel I heard it alot but that doesn't mean its not a good name. I like it

Since you asked...I really dislike it. I thinks the name is rather ugly and made up.

I wouldn't give it a huge side eye because with today's naming its rather expected. If you are going this route I prefer Raelynn or Jayla.

I LOVE it!! This is coming from a fan of the (girl) name Jaedyn - I posted opinions for this name and it was completely shot down. If u love it, don't let people of this board sway u. Their opinions are just opinions. I've also learned many people on TB seem to like more traditional names. Which is ok! Just NMS...

Im a fan of different names but everyone in my family has a different name and so does by DH.. If you love it DO IT!!! Your the one who has to call your kid that name no one else.. I know a Jaelyn and she is a very cute smart little girl and the mom is very well put together! I also work at a middle school and I see Jaelyn alot. Its not a bad name, or ugly name at all. Like ^ said I have seen on here traditional names are the big thing which is great! but if you love it do it!!

It could be much worse. It's not my style but I don't hate it at all. I know a little girl who is 7 with the name and never thought it weird or trashy or trendy.
