Exactly, and the only possible NN I can come up with is Tin or Leigh... I just don't like it.

And even when they say the name out loud I cringe a bit.

I knew a Tinley (spelled this way) in H.S. Her brother was Boo mer (w/o the space). Luckily for him, he was a star baseball player so the name worked.

There is a baby at daycare that is Tenley, she's cute as heck so when I hear Tenley I think of her!

Oh, dammit, why did this happen? People who are expecting have a really cool opportunity to pick something beautiful, timeless and meaningful; I hate it when they pick some trendy, misspelled made-up POS.

I think it's really cute.... for a small dog! lol. I might keep it in mind for next time we get a puppy

But seriously, what about when that little girl grows up and tries to apply for a job? No one is going to take her seriously... I feel bad for her.

I'm not surprised you came across this name on "16 and Pregnant" because it's exactly the type of name you would find on that show, or on "Teen Mom."

 I agree - sometimes on this show you get some real whack-a-doo names!

I saw that too, really NMS.  Maybe if it was spelled Tinley I wouldnt side eye it as bad.
