Hi there Internet friend,
So I have again been MIA, but this time for a good reason! From the looks of it you and I welcomed our little miracles on the same day (5/7). Congratulations to you new mommy! it's just amazing isn't it? So many times it felt like we were never going to get here and the wait was so long and then BAM, your little one picks the day and it's game on. I read your birth story and it sounds like you did an amazing job and while our situations were different it seems like some of the oddities in our labors were quite similar. I hope your new little family is adjusting well to life with baby Elf now on the outside and that you are able to smoothly make the transition. I'm sure you will.
I wish you health, happiness, peace and sleep (even if the latter is in smaller than ideal increments),
Take Care,
Sarah

Thanks Ladies! You have both been on my mind too, but of course just about every free moment has been used to do things like laundry, sleep, shower, pay bills, write a thank you note or have a meal! I'm on my iPad right now and can only delete things from my sig etc. and write big run on paragraphs. I have to get a little time at our PC to upload a photo or two, but I'm going to do it today! Amanda, you are delivering at Swedish I assume so I'll page you or send a PM with some specifics about what to do/avoid for that facility if you want.
Take Care you guys! Sarah

YAY for May 7th babies !!!! Congrats to you! We're still adjusting and learning how to read her signs, when she's usually fussy, etc. -- normal new parent stuff, I guess. She's actually a pretty good sleeper (by newborn standards!), except for a few crying jags here and there that keep us up. I hope your little one is happy and healthy and bringing you much joy.
Are you going to make the move over to the Parenting >35 board? I haven't intro'd over there yet, but will hopefully get into more of a routine soon and be able to get online a little more regularly, Thank goodness for being able to get on it via my phone, or I'd never be on right now!
Congrats, Sarah! I'm very happy for both you and Elf and your little ones!

Thank you for the sweet well-wishes. I wish this for you as well. What a long road to get here, but worth all the heartache for sure.
I'm slow to complete my birth story I know, but what else is new, but i edited my siggy with some new info and photos.
Elf, I'll probably end up on that board at some point, but it's hard to say now that I am going to have even less time and since I'm not at the office I'm no lnger in front of a computer all day. however I'm sure I am doing 100 things wrong already and could use the advice.
