G diapers or Bamboo

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you used the G diapers or Bamboo diapers or if everyone used disposable? We were looking at this as a cost effective enviormentally friendly option. Anyone else

I CD. Thirsties are my favorite for the baby. If you want to use the hybrid ones, I prefer Flip to the G Diapers.

I CD.  My favorites are bum genius, happy hinies and funibunz.  I bought the refolds with thirties covers for the new born stage but didn't end up liking them and just used disposables until the others fit.  i save over 200.00 a month using cloth.

We've used g diapers since our baby (almost one) was born. Love them! So easy and have never had a blowout.Good luck and congrats!

I was not fond of the gdiapers.  My babies always smelled like pee.

We cloth diaper. Check out the CD board. Most of the moms there hate the gdiapers. If you want a hybrid system, look into Flips. Otherwise, you'd save money and be even more Eco-friendly with cloth.

I haven't heard good things about the gdiapers.

When our guys were itty bitty we used Thirsties duo covers with prefolds, it was really inexpensive compared to pockets or all in ones.

We use Flip covers and prefolds for the three we have in diapers. It saves us a ton of money. In fact, the Flip covers are on sale right now - buy two get one free.
