I have several AppleCheeks Bamboo inserts which I love because they are super absorbent, however I am having problems getting them completely dry. Sometimes even after two 60 minute cycles in the dryer high heat they still feel slightly damp to me. Is it normal for bamboo to take this long to dry out? What should I do to make sure my inserts are getting completely dry?
Re: Bamboo & Hemp Users -help!
I'm not able to sun (blasted sub-division!). Maybe I'll try running them through the dryer once (with everything else) and then hanging them to dry out for another 24 hours.
Do you have any other bamboo or hemp? If so, does it take the same amount of time to dry out?

Have you tried wool dryer balls at all? They are suppose to cut down the drying time.
FWIW I find my applecheeks inserts take a long time to dry as well. I had to start drying my inserts on medium and it still takes at least 70-80 minutes for everything to dry fully.

We have an older and likely more inefficient dryer and even with lots of wool dryer balls, I've found that anything hemp or bamboo needs a little extra time. I either throw them in with the next load of whatever is coming through the dryer (usually towels) or hang dry.
I guess it makes sense that they'd take longer since the reason they are awesome as diapers is that they hold so much more moisture. Totally worth the wait IMO
