Now on bedrest

My blood pressure has been up since yesterday with a bad headache.  I went to work today, had a very easy day, but decided to have 2 different people take my BP. (I am a RN at a local hospital).  The first reading was 140/90. The second reading was 152/96.

The OB wanted to see me right away. My BP in the office was 142/92. I am spilling 1+ protein on the dipstick. She tried to admit me for my 24 hour urine, but I talked her out of that. Instead I am on bedrest at home while doing my 24 hour urine today. I go back to the OB tomorrow and if my BP is still up, I'm getting admitted.

I just want Maya to be fine.

I hope you feel better soon and don't have to stay on bedrest too long.

I hope you feel better. ?Bedrest sucks especially for someone accustomed to taking care of others (I am a nurse too and was on bedrest for 3.5 months). ?You are almost there. ?Try to stay positive!!! ?The first couple days are the worst. ?Hopefully the bedrest will not last too long for you.

I'm sorry! I'm surprised they aren't inducing you at this point I hope that they do soon and get that baby out of there!
