S/o Pinterest, does anyone else get emails telling you these people who you do not know are following you?
All the time, and I'm not even that active on there. I don't understand following random strangers.
But, in some ways, isn't that what we are doing here??? I sometime prefer strangers. They tend to come with less drama attached....
Yup this. I wont even join pinterest, because all the people I left FB to avoid would likely find me there too. I've found strangers on the internet and real friends in real life is a good way to keep drama to a minimum for me. If only because any drama I might create on my own is secluded to a group of peeps I wont see in person the next day.

It makes total sense to me. I follow some random strangers, because I saw a pin they made I liked, looked at their boards, and wanted to see what other things they came up with because I liked their style, or ideas, or whatever.
"Perfect Sandwich" ... with what kind of mystery meat is that? Bologna? blech
I follow randos if they have cool pins, so I don't mind when random people follow me. Otherwise if it's just friends I follow, I will see the same pins recirculating a billion times. When I started writing a blog that discussed some pretty personal things, I realized that I had to be ok with basically killing my internet anonymity. *shrug*

I always just assume it's someone from The Bump. I have a "follow me" button on my siggy. Especially if there is a baby/nursery board on there, I just assume it's one of you ladies. lol...I'm probably wrong about 90% of the time.

Re: S/O Pinterest, is this REALLY necessary?

It is a silly pin. However, I will admit it made me wonder why I've never done that before.
And btw, nice intro. ;o)

Same here. Or people that have blogs I like.
It is, in a way. The people here don't know my real name, though.

Much more lately. I never had that happen and in the last week or two I found I have a ton of strangers following me.
