I don't think that's something to be upset about. You could be the person that needs an emergency appointment or emergency c-section someday causing other people's appointments to be running late.

yall need to chill.  I wasn't upset because she was late.  I was upset cause I had to pee.  The disaster was overted when I went got a cup. 

I actually could be upset.. because I would expect the receptionist or nurse to contact the moms and notify them of the backup and either offer to move the appt or say come an hr later or something.  I mean if *I* was an hour late.. they would just reschedule me and charge me a 25 dollar fee.

There is no way they would be able to call every patient every time the office got backed up. I'm sure that happens there on a pretty regular basis. I'm glad you were able to get some relief though. Could you not have just gone to use their bathroom? Maybe that would be awkward if you were in a robe?

they collect pee samples from you.  I thought of that and said bugger it all and asked for a cup heh.

This. Nothing that happened to you sounds like a big deal. You have every option to reschedule. Glad you found a bathroom. I highly doubt the receptionist could call every patient. I would never be surprised if I got to my doctor's office and they told me they were running late. Babies come when they want, and again, emergencies happen.
