Not having a BC baby but when I tell you that I have literally "done it" one time since January, I'm not kidding.
Hey cut me some slack, we are sharing a room with a 9 month old until my house is done being built so the only time we had a chance was our trip to Atlantic City!
So looks like I'm pretty furtile myself. lol

I am. I was on the pill for 4 years and changed to nuvaring for the past 2 years. We had a surprise when we missed AF and here we are today. I couldn't be happier now that I'm finally over the shock lol!

I was off bc a year before getting pg with my first. Never went back on and it took 2 years for the second. I've been on bc since the second and SURPRISE a third is on it's way. I'll be getting a tubal.
With DD I was on the mini pill. Didn't ovulate or have my period for 6 months on it. First time I ovulated while on it I got KU. Now she is almost 2. With my second pregnancy it took 7 months with no BC and just leaving it up to nature. That resulted in a loss. This one was my second cycle post loss. So I think I also am pretty fertile.
What about Depo? You can use it while BFing and it's very reliable. I also loved Mirena because it's an IUC not an IUD. They're both in your uterus but Mirena is plastic and releases low level hormones, lower than pills because it's local. Other IUDs use copper and such for some sort of reaction that prevents pregnancy.

Wrong. IUC means it has copper. Mirena is an IUD. Depo made me have a period every day for 6 months. No thank you. I'm allergic to latex, so condoms are out. I've thought about Implanon. My IUC fuucked my cycles up too. I have no clue. I'm screwed.

IUC means Intrauterine Contraception. It's a second generation of IUDs, the most common being the copper T. Implenon is of interest to me after this one, too. It wasn't covered by my insurance when I got Mirena but it is now.
What about the good old fashioned chastity belt? I kid of course...
I really think my only option is going to be NFP. Which sucks because I like the sex a lot and I don't want to have to plan around when I can and can't have it. Or we may just end up having another kid right away and then get my tubes tied. He wants 3 kids, and I only wanted 1 and there's no way they'd tie my tubes right now anyways.

We were using condoms. Considering what we've gone through to get pregnant and have healthy pregnancies and babies in the past, we were pretty shocked.
I am not allowed to use hormonal birth control so there aren't many options other than permanent ones which we aren't quite ready for. If this pregnancy is successful though I think we'll look into a vascetomy. We have one frozen embryo that we will transfer at some point so having the possibility of a fifth child makes me more comfortable with permanent birth control.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
I had been on BC (the pill) for about a year and we managed to get knocked up! I am very happy, but it was QUITE the surprise. We had been busy getting our wedding planned...had to switch gears a bit.
I was not on BC, but a girl I work with was on NuvaRing when she got her BFP with her second.
I was on NuvaRing with this one, too. I was on the pill with my first. I'm totally screwed. My body doesn't do well with IUDs.
The girl I mentioned said that when she found out she was pregnant, a lot of people told her they were on NuvaRing and got pregnant, too. When I was on it, I had no idea how many girls this happened to.. epsecially because people sometimes side eye girls on BC who get BFP and say they do it wrong -- but you CAN'T do NuvaRing wrong, it just is not possible.

I got knocked up on nuvaring too. I was on the pill for 4 years before getting on nuvaring and never had an issue. I am happy we are pregnant with our miracle LO, but will never go back on nuvaring.

I am also allergic to latex. They make polyurethane condoms that are great!
