December 2012 Moms

Crap (litterally, don't open if you have sensitive stomach)

I just got home from work and went to let the dogs out of the side room (we have to keep one in a special place when we're gone, one chews on everything and anything and as accidents) Well - guess who had an accident in the side room? Right in front of the door so it smears when you open it?

Yeah. I can't clean it up either A) because of the pregnant thing and B) because it smells and I'll puke all over...

So I have to sit here and wait for H to get home...at 10:30. I'm trilled.

  • Ick!

My cat hacked up a hairball 20 minutes ago.  That was pleasant to hear and then see.

  • I thought the issue was cleaning cat litterboxes - not cleaning up after dogs?  If I were you, I'd just hold my breath and clean it up as fast as I could.  sorry - that really sucks!

Thats what I thought too, but I asked the doctor (because we also have a rabbit to change) and she said not to, just to be safe.

I gag cleaning it when i'm not pregnant. So I know I can't do it now. I closed the door to the room its in and sprayed some febreeze, so that's helped.

  • I hear ya! My dog puked this morning and I left it for DH this evening. He's puked a couple more times and DH has taken care of it. I won't let him in our bed tonight and I certainly hope hes over this tomorrow.

  • Welp, there's apparently a stomach bug going around DS's daycare right now, so I'm sure I've got plenty of poop and vomit in my future. Just a question of when! (It's kinda like Christmas. Hee.)

Lord help you! One of the things I'm most worried about is poop/puke from my kid. I'm sure it won't be as bad as another persons kid (which I've had to clean up before).

Listen, I hate puke. Very very much. But coming from your own kid - it *is* different. What bothers me most is the shock factor, as it tends to catch you totally by surprise (gets my heart going!) and then, of course, getting sick ourselves. I'm pretty good about containing outbreaks though.
