Perhaps I shouldn't be considering a name I'm not entirely sure how to pronounce, but is this name pronounced like Toe-bin or Toh-bin?

 Also, WDYT of it (for a boy)?

I've only seen that as a last name. I would not picture that for a first name.

There is a bridge here called the Tobin Bridge.  It's pronounced Toe-bin.  Not Tah-bin (rhymes with Robin).  I think it's a good name.  I like plenty others ahead of it, though.

This is my cousins name, hes older than I am, I think maybe in his early 30s. He's the only Tobin I've ever met

It was the rabbi who performed my wedding's last name. (Pronounced Toe-bin.)

Otherwise never heard of this for a first name.

I assumed this name was pronounced TOE-bin. I love it as well as Tobias. I would use either for the nn Toby. If only I could convince DH

I met a couple of Tobias' & a Tobin when I was in Germany. I wouldn't use it with our last name, but I like both names.

I like Tobin, but the only person I've heard with the name is Tobin Bell.  He was Jigsaw in the Saw movies.

I went to college with the only Tobin I know. He went by Toby most of the time. I loved him. Great guy, great association for me!

This, but I love he name...it happens to be my 4 year old Nephew's name!  It is a surname as well...it was my SIL's maiden name, which is why she chose it, but it works!
