I was actually about to give a real reply and not some snarky remark.  I wouldn't feel bad, there is nothing wrong with him staying at home, in fact if you're ok with being the sugar momma =)  then hey do it!  I know I had to step up while my husband was in school.

    Uh, that wasn't a real reply?  Maybe I missed one after me......

    Did you have kids and not consider daycare costs?  Probably not. Most (responsible) TTCers take those things into consideration prior to procreating, and not at 5 weeks PP.  

     I never said there was anything wrong with it - there are plenty of SAHDs.  They just likely planned and prepared for such a situation.
