After spotting, HCG levels that were not doubling and a low progesterone test, I started to miscarry Saturday night. My doctor did not feel that putting me on a progesterone supplement would be a good idea (apparently this is quite the debate amongst doctors and I'm not thrilled with their decision for me) but they will test me for low-progesterone during my next "normal" cycle to see if it would be helpful during my next pregnancy. If I've learned anything throughout all of this, it's that you definitely have to be your own advocate and fight for what you want.
It's crazy how you can love something so much after just 6 weeks. ![]()
I will keep all of you December Mamas in my thoughts and prayers moving forward! Good luck to you all!

I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you.
So very sorry for your loss! Thoughts and prayers that you have a quick recovery and are back here as soon as possible! And you're absolutely right - be your own advocate and leave any doctor who won't listen to your concerns!
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Yes, there is a debate over whether low progesterone causes a loss, or whether a non-viable pregnancy will automatically result in low levels. I think both scenarios are possible. Keep being your own advocate and insist on getting your mid-luteal phase progesterone level checked during your next normal cycle.

I'm so sorry for your loss, good luck with your testing next cycle.
I had a loss in early February, and I found the Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss board and the TTC After a Loss boards very helpful and supportive. It is a difficult thing that can only be understood by those who have experienced it. ((hugs))
