Thanks for freaking us out MIL!

My in-laws are the kind of people that are in bed by 8:30, 9 at the latest.  Last night, MIL called just before 10.  It freaked us out that she was calling so late b/c DH has a great uncle and great aunt that aren't doing very well at all and his dad has been having problems with blood clots.  Well it turns out she called to tell him that we need to start thinking about what foods we want to bring to the 4th of July picnic (yes, you read that right... 4th of JULY) b/c when we go to the beach, she wants to figure it all out and have it settled.  We're not going to the beach for another month.  Seriously?!?!  It's that big of deal?  I told DH just to be equally ridiculous, I'm going to suggest that we exchange names for Christmas at the 4th of July b/c I'm going to need to have my shopping done early.  Ugh!!!  End of vent.

Haha thanks!  Things aren't really bad between us or anything.  Sometimes she's just a little crazy and it's hard to handle.  She's queen of jumping the gun.
