Intelligender? (just for fun)

Just wondering if anyone else has done this test or is planning on it. I know it's probably not as accurate as they say it is (I think they claim 80%) and it's probably a waste of money but I honestly just wanted to do it for fun to see if it was actually right. Anyway, I did my test this morning and it came back with a "boy" result fairly quickly! I have been feeling like I'm having a boy (though I know that feeling could be wrong too!), so we'll just have to wait another 10 weeks to see if it was actually right :)

Anyone else used this in the past or used/is planning on using during this pregnancy?

I *almost* bought it while still in the US, but it said you can't use it with PCOS so I am out! Might be fun!

I don't think we are going to find out the sex anyways!

Yeah, there are a lot of different restrictions... you can't use it with PCOS or if you've had certain fertility treatments. I don't think we are patient enough to wait until birth to find out the sex :) I wish I was because I think that would be fun to have that "It's a boy/girl!" moment, but DH and I both think it would drive us crazy not knowing.

  • It's funny, but I just don't have the desire to speculate the sex of the baby til it's time to find out at the doctor's office (or in delivery). I think it would be interesting to see if it turns out right, but I definitely think it's a gimmick. :)

Haha I agree, I honestly only did it for fun. I'm guessing it probably has about a 50% chance of being right.

There's no harm in doing it for fun! :)

I haven't done intelligender but I did the Chinese Gender chart and the baking soda test, just for fun. Both said girl and that's what my feeling is, but only time will tell! We will be finding out the sex, so hopefully we'll know in mid July :)

  • I know two people that have used the intelligender test. My coworkers wife used it on their third child after 2 boys they were hoping for a girl. The test said boy yet they ended up having a girl. A friend of mine used it and it said boy and it ended up being right. I don't plan on using it.

  • We did it with our first and it was right.  I had a feeling we were having a boy, IntelliGender said boy, and of course as you can see we have a BOY! haha

We also just did it for fun...it was something to do between the 1st u/s and 2nd a/s so DH could feel "more involved."

Ever since I found out I was pregnant I just kind of felt like it was a boy... I'm not sure how often those "gut feelings" are right, though. Even my chinese gender chart says boy. Now with the Intelligender test saying boy I just feel even more like it's a boy!

It's probably a girl after all of this, haha :)

  • I have not used it, I have thought about it, just for fun too but our finances are a little too tight for entertainment around here, haha. If you have the money to get it and try it, I think it would be fun.

I did the Chinese Gender Chart as well and it said girl. However; my first pregnancy it said boy and I had a girl so I don't think any of them are very accurate but they are hard to resist for fun!! :)
