Light cramping in my lower tummy...

Today and yesterday I was having some light stomach cramps in my lower stomach, kind of similar to menstrual cramps. I am supposedly 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant (I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I was planning to go the end of this week). Is this something to be concerned about?

    Not at all. Cramping just means your uterus is expanding. If the pain is severe or accompanied by bleeding, then definitely call your doctor, but I'm positive you're just fine :)

    No, I usually get mild cramping until 8-9 weeks. Like pp said, it's only a concern if the pain becomes severe or if it is coupled with heavy bleeding.

    I've been having cramping since my BFP- normal from what I hear.

    Cramping is actually how I figured out I was pregnant!  I was running to the bathroom constantly with a tampon thinking I would be bleeding at any minute because of the cramps, but apparently my body was saying something else :)
