Potty Training Question - sorry if it's been asked over & over

Hi everyone,

Our girls are 2 years, 8 months and will be heading to preschool this fall when they turn three.  We would like to have them potty trained before preschool, if possible, and plan to start PT in June.  

For the past month or so, one of the girls will use the potty every night after bath (we haven't used rewards yet, since she hasn't needed them).  Our other DD tries most nights, but has only actually peed twice.

Are there any good web sites that describe different approaches to potty training?  I've read a little bit about the three day 'bootcamp' approach, but I'm not sure that's right for us.  I don't know where to start & would love some advice - especially about potty training two girls who are at different stages in their PT development.

we did the 3-day and loved it.

isn't there a PT board on the bump?  that might be a good place to learn about other methods.

 

we'll be doing the 3-day with the twins in june - after their 3rd birthday.

We did the 3 day naked at home too. I got our info from Babycenter. Just google it. It worked pretty well. We didn't keep them completely naked when they were home for 3 months like they suggest, but did spend lots of time sans pants.

We did a one day bootcamp just to get some successes on the board.  We stayed outside, they drank as much juice and water as they could, and I just kept putting them on the potties.  It's a little crazy making, but it helped them understand what needed to happen.  After that, we took things at each of their paces, practicing at night and at daycare.  One day, one asked to wear undies to school and that was that.  The other followed a few weeks later.
