it was going well until...(lap recovery)

i had my lap wednesday, recovery going well until last night when i got a HORRIBLE headache, took pain medication, tylenol, sudfed, i woke up this morning and drank water thinking i might be degydrated.

15 min later i threw up all the water and couldn't keep anything down.

we called the surgi center who told us to go to the er in case of infection.

good news, no infection. bad news is i had the first migraine of my life while recovering from surgery.

they pumped me full of a liter of fluid and sent me home with some anti-nausea medication.

i feel silly for going to the er for a migraine, but was afraid of post-surgery complication...hopefully it is all good recovery from here.

I'm so sorry you got a migraine. I get migraines every so often and I had one so bad one time that my hubby took me to the ER. It is not silly to go! When you feel like your head is going to explode, its the safest bet to go to the ER and get checked out, make sure its not something worse.

I hope you are feeling better!
