1st Labs completed...

My dr already sent me for all my 1st trimester labworks and screening.... i got so much info the day of my appt i forgot what they screen for. dr says everything came  back in normal range so im happy about that.  anyone know what they screen for?

I know that I had a CBC drawn and two other things that I can't recall...but I'm happy yours came back normal One less thing to worry about!

i had 6 awful viles of blood  drawn. my dr is being extra  cautious due to my molar pregnancy last oct.    whew! i know one less thing to worry about.

I think I had 10 vials drawn! I'm not sure what she tested for but I know what labs I've gotten back so far:

Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Rapid HIV, OB screen, CBC w/ diff, Type & screen, TSH (thyroid), Rubella (check immunity), HBSAG (check Hep B immunity) 

All clear for me! I have no idea if all OBs screen for all that. My doc is with a large health system so maybe they just cover all bases at once? Glad all yours were withing normal limits!

I think in first tri they test for STD's, they will most likely test for how much hCG is in your system, and blood type. I don't get any other screens until 13-16 weeks.

I got 10 vials taken too....they had me in for labs in advance of the first appt.  The nurse called and said they look good...my HCG was 3490 (I was 5w1d when they took blood).  She also said I'm slightly vitamin D deficient.  So I now have to take a vitamin D supplement along with my prenatal.
