Since we're on the topic... How did you get KU? I got pregnant from hot, drunk, wedding sex. I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding. The week before I stopped breastfeeding DD(with plans to have my body to myself for a while before TTC). Well since it was the first time I knew I could let loose and not have to be up to nurse a baby in the morning, I got a bit carried away with one too many drinks. DH did too, it was our first night out in quite a while and we never drink much anymore, so we just got it all out. We went home and got it on. And now #2 is on the way! We knew it was a possibility but were not trying to make a baby either. It was such a fun night, and Im not super spontaneous, so I think it a way better story than the boring TTC sex that got us DD.

I got KU because I told DH I couldn't have sex 24 hours before my pap, and he decided we better have sex two days before, and low and behold that's our story. ha! We went two days later, and had a long convo with doc on how to conceive because we'd been trying for 6 months. 

Not drunken wild sex, but good old fashion afternoon delight! ;-)

It was our first month TTC. I was going out of town for the weekend and I truly thought I was supposed to ovulate over the weekend. I was bummed because I didn't think there was much of a chance of it working for us that month. My DH had a cold and felt like crap, but I took advantage of him anyway. Two weeks later we found out our timing wasn't so crappy after all.

Just lots of TTC sex for us.  And actually, sadly, DH hurt his neck/back that week.  I was so bummed because it was optimal time.  He could barely move and was in so much pain, but he sucked it up and did it anyway!  Needless to say it was most likely a quickie.  He was such a good sport though.

We have been trying to get KU'd since DD turned 1.5.  We maybe have a chance to have sex once or twice a week due to our shitty work schedules.  He works midnight to noon ( 3.5 days a week and I worked 10 - 6pm M-F.  I started working from home and suddenly I am KU.. LOL.. I guess time and opportunity was what we were missing!

Nothing planned just completely spontaneous and unprotected. I had a feeling that there was more of a chance than any other time before, but was not worried.

Nothing exciting.  TTC sex.

It was our first month trying.  I was temping, decided to have sex EOD after my period and our timing just ended up being spot on, we had sex O-2 and on O.  However neither of us expected it to happen so fast, and I actually didn't even know I had O'd until I discarded an "off" temp which was 3-4 days before I tested.  I honestly thought we were out that month and was ready to move on to the next cycle.
I had tested 9 DPO (which I know is early) and got a BFN and that just made me more unhopeful, but I tested again 11DPO and got a faint line which kept getting darker the more I poas.
Needless to say I am still in shock, it still hasn't sunk in.

We were out of town visiting relatives and ended up having sex in his parents living room while everyone was gone and our son was taking a nap.  Normally, we wouldn't be able to pinpoint an exact time, but he went back home and I stayed visiting for another two weeks, so that was definitely it!

We were TTC.  We actually started in January 11, but then we had some issues with health insurance and had to stop after several cycles.  We got KU on our first cycle "re-trying".

We had a second ectopic in December (on the same side) and it was the first time we could be together. It was a "I miss you and want to comfort" thing, but it was hot and raw. I saw my doctor and said "Surprise....I'm back". Our DD was also conceived right after our first ectopic pregnancy. I hope this does not keep happening. ER visits, emergency surgeries, and blood transfusions are not something I want to repeat every time we want to have a baby.

ours was not nearly as exciting as some of these, we did IUI..so technically a nurse impregnated me hah.

Just to give you some hope, my BFF had two ectopics, then a healthy baby, then an ectopic and a CP, then a healthy baby. She too worried that she was going to have to suffer losses for each child but is now pregnant with her 3rd and is 26 weeks along with no losses before hand. I hope the same is the case for you if/when you try for a third.

Honestly, hubs and I became a little lax about our BC. I stopped taking the pill because it was making me nauseous and I never made an appointment to try something new. We were using condoms sometimes and "pulling out" sometimes, and welllll here I am. I have no idea when and where... we're pretty active in the sex department...

We had just been referred to an infertility clinic so just decided to go for it that month - ED sex for a week or so just in case. It was unexpectedly fun and any of the nights is a good memory ;-)

Good thing too since he then went out of town and I've been on pelvic rest for a month now!

First let me say, my husband and I have a great sex life. But I remember the night I got KU vividly because it quite possibly was the worst sext that my husband and I have ever had. We had been trying to have a baby for about two months with no luck, so I thought maybe I hadn't timed my ovulation right. So I went out and bought one of the over the counter kits and figured it couldn't hurt right? Anyhow....I took the test on Monday and it said I was ovulating. Well that gave us 24-28 hours. On Tuesday I had to go into work extremely early at 6:00 and didn't get off work till 6:00. He also worked late that day. So by the time we both got home and showered and ate we were exhausted! But I knew I was ovulating and we had to have sex. We had sex and but there was no pleasure about it for either of us. It was a wham,bam, thank you mam. No matter how it occured, we couldn't be more thrilled to be expecting our first child in December!!!!!!

I've got the sexiest story so far 

Our baby was conceived in a petrie dish in July. Then s/he chilled out in a freezer for 8 months until a wonderful doctor defrosted him/her and deposited him/her straight into my uterus. So hot.

We were SURE we weren't going to get pregnant that cycle, because DH was out of town for most of it! I was charting and using ovulation test strips and I ovulated two days before he came home, so we thought we were out of luck again that month. The INSTANT he got home we got it on, just in case, and it worked, because I tested ("just in case") a couple of weeks later, and... BFP! Funny how that works. I think maybe because I wasn't stressing about it happening, because I didn't think it would, it was a better environment for it to actually happen. I have anxiety issues so being able to relax about it a bit really helped!

This is almost exactly the same story I had with my #2 - had just weaned DS, went to a wedding out of town, and it was the first time we had been alone without a baby in so long...2 weeks later, there was my BFP (kind of strange since it took 18 months and fertility treatment for #1, but we took it!).

This time it was just one night I thought I might be close to ovulating, and we were sort of TTC - no charting, OPKs etc, but not using any birth control.  No big crazy story this time!

A week of heavy-duty TTC sex. I was fortunate that we got lucky our first month TTC. At the end of the week DH said he felt like a piece of meat. I'm not sure I could get him to go through that again.

Agree TTC sex is not fun!!!  That's how we did it too...temping, OPKs and ED sex during fertile window.  Worked on 6th cycle, 3rd temping....

It was our 10th month TTC and seeing as how I turn 35 in a week I had made an appointment with my OB/GYN to start scheduling testing in a month or two. We finally got all the timing right and I was so surprised after so many months of seeing BFNs and I got to call and cancel that appt and schedule one for around 8w instead.  I'm still having a hard time believing it. :P We're just so happy we were able to do it on our own, kwim? It just took a lot of stress away.

We are not sure of the exact day but we can pinpoint the weekend?The Weekend of March9th-March 11^th. The Beau and I were not TTC but it happened. I had ended my BC packs the 2^nd to last week in January and was scheduled to go into the doctor in March. Since I have been continuously on BC for the last 11 years, I thought I still had a window of time and my Beau always ?pulled out?.

Well he made mention of  me being in biking shorts and I popped up at his house in biking shorts and a mini dress? Then that Sunday he came over to my house and I had on his favorite shirt and some leggings...  Well on both of those days and all the times we did it on those days it was good and hot and what do you know?he didn?t pull out.
