Boots with leggings - okay in May?

Is wearing boots with leggings okay in May?  I want to wear my leggings tomorrow and I like how they look with boots, but I know it is springtime.  Would flats be better for May?

  • Let the weather, not the calendar, be your guide.

  • I think it would look weird, but I live in a northern state.  No one wears boots this time of year, except maybe rain boots if it is raining.  I think leggings look good with dressy flip flops or flat sandals, though.  Ballet flats, too.

For me - if its over 70 degrees, I move onto spring/summery shoes so not boots.  If it is a cool May day - go for it with the boots.

Maybe I just don't care enough about fashion, but...

If you want to wear leggings with boots and the weather is right, wear them.

    If you don't, then well...don't.

Yea, this. I just wear what I'm comfortable in. To spend that much time considering an outfit choice is a waste.
