A/S This morning It's a boy! MN Help

Just had my anatomy scan this am and found out we are having a little boy! Funny, because everyone thought we were having a girl.

Anyway, We are set on a fn, Benjamin, in honor of DH's grandfather whos name is Benedict (but we weren't about to saddle this little guy with the name Benedict)

We are at a loss for a middle name. We would like it to honor our other grandfathers, but their names aren't so great. Here's what we have to work with:

Alvin

Alfred

Norbert

Francis (this is our front runner, but it is the mn of the grandfather we are already honoring)

We also like:

James (with no family association)

Joseph (like less, but is a family mn, and dh's mn)

Which do you like? Any other suggestions?

I have to laugh a little because I love the name Benedict and have not one but TWO godsons named Benedict (one is my nephew). They get compliments on their names all the time.

I am a huge fan of Benjamin though, and it was on our list before the 2 Benedicts were born.

I like Benjamin Joseph and Benjamin Francis (although Benjamin Francis has a slight "Benjamin Franklin" feel to it).

I like Benjamin Francis, but a PP pointed out that it does have a Benjamin Franklin ring to it. I still like it though. Benjamin Joseph sounds good. If you weren't trying to go for a family name, I'd like Benjamin James the most.
