The SW told us it could be 1.5-2 hours. We've gone through the homestudy sections of our adoption books and discussed a lot of things, but is there anything they asked you about during the first visit that caught you off guard or wished you had discussed ahead of time? We are so nervous!!
We gave them any/all paperwork we'd completed (which was a lot). From there, they did an individual interview of me, did a "genofile" graph of my family, and did the safety walk/check-list.

It's perfectly normal to be nervous. You'll do great. Just remember they're there to help you pass, not to find ways to make you fail.
We didn't have anything that caught us off-guard. The only thing that mildly surprised us was that our SW asked about the demographics of our neighborhood and town. We were working most of the time so it took a little thinking to give her a good picture of what it was like.

So exciting! Our 1st visit was about that long.
