What's your silver lining?

After my negative beta today I'm trying to think about what the silver lining is in this mess.

No progesterone suppliment tonight!

We've racked up enough airline miles just by visiting our RE for a free flight to visit my friend in Seattle.

What's your silver lining?

I might or might not have spent the past few days inebriated. Stick out tongue

    Hate progesterone! It's the worst!

When I am having a rough day with this IF, I try to think of the fun things we get to do without children...Sleeping in, staying out late, traveling at the drop of a hat, spending money on frivolous things, letting the house get messy, enjoying sexy time with my husband anywhere and anytime I want...There are lots of things that are great about childless living, it's just easy to forget when all you want is that tiny baby in your arms. I will say that every BFN gets celebrated with tons of sushi and a cocktail.

    Sorry about your beta...**hugs**

I also may have "celebrated" my BFN this month with a cocktail or 3.  You have to take what you can get sometimes.  And, Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner.

Great question. Every month that goes by that we don't get PG, we can save more money and DH is closer to getting a "real job" (he's currently a post-doc) so I will be able to stay at home with (future) baby.  There's no way we would be able to swing that now.

I'm allergic to agave so no margaritas for me but I have had two glasses of really great bubbly tonight thanks to my mom and now I'm working on a glass of wine. We have a mini golf tournament on Sunday for Putt the hell outta cancer so I'm going to take full advantage of the course cocktail waitresses.

I find it a silver lining that since we don't have kids we can have sex anywhere in the house, at any time, and I can be as loud as I want to be with the moans and cries of pleasure.

Sorry about the bad news on your test.  =(  My silver lining definitely involves cracking open a bottle of wine on a weeknight and not giving a sh*t that I accomplish nothing as a result.  Also, I figure every month gives me time to get in even better shape, save money, do things around the house I couldn't do either if pregnant (paint) or if we had kids (sleeping in is absolutely at the top of that list). Vacation is another - all we need is someone to feed the cats and we are off.  I hear it's a *wee* bit more involved if you have kids!!!
TTC since 1/11. "Unexplained" IF. 6/12 - 50mg Clomid + TI = BFN. 7/12 and 8/12 - 50mg Clomid + IUI = BFN. Taking a break and planning for a final IUI before the end of the year, but back to considering adoption. Repeat AMH of 0.67, ouch. 3rd try 10/12 - 100mg Clomid and back-to-back IUIs = BFP!
