It's so strange, I am never a salt craves-type person. I like sweets and usually crave those and sometime pickles. The last 2 weeks of being pregnant I've been craving 1 salty thing after another (soups, chips, pickles). I usually only eat potato chips like 1-2 times a year and yesterday I was craving sour cream & onion ruffles, bought them and devoured them.
Is anybody else having opposite types of cravings than you typically do, not pregnant?
Re: Can't get enough salt!
I'm with you... sweets hold no interest for me right now. But, I'll take salty, for sure!
Sweets are so "ugh" to me, that I can't even take my gummy prenatals; I had to switch to pills so I would even take them!

Yep! I'm usually a sweets and chocolate dessert lover, but haven't been able nor want to do anything sweet. Popcorn and chips are yummy and I pick those over cake!
I have been the same way! Tater tots are the thing I want most!
I read in one of my books that there is an old wives tale that if you crave salty things you are going to have a boy and if you crave sweet things you are going to have a girl. Haha.
