Bump envy!

I think I go through this every HDBD but I am having bump envy! I just look like I have gained 10 pounds (which I have all in my stomach). I had lunch with a friend yesterday and she said (not sure how friendly that is) that I didn't look pregnant jus fat. Most people can't tell that I have gained any weight but I guess my ute is getting a lot bigger. I measured 20 weeks at 18.5 weeks and baby girl is just going though a growth spurt because I feel bigger the past few mornings.

me too!  i've only gained 5lbs and i'm 21 weeks.  but i'm naturally petite and the ultrasound says the baby is the right size.  

it definitely raises questions because some people think i'm not gaining on purpose, but i'm not!  i'm just eating to my appetite, like my midwife said.

but i'm trying not to be too envious, because i know once it starts it's just going to grow grow grow!

What a turd your friend is!  You are just in that middle stage, your baby bump will show more pronounced soon.  It probably already is more than you think, you just aren't used to it yet.  Just hang in there!

What an annoying friend!  Are you wearing maternity-style shirts to accentuate what bump you have?

People kept saying I didn't look pregnant, especially this older secretary woman. Finally last week (around 20.5 weeks) she told me that I  "finally look how I'm supposed to." (compliment maybe? haha). 

Anyway, your friend sounds like a piece of work, and you are a little behind me so there's still plenty of time.

I'm right there with you!  I haven't gained any weight.  I'm now in maternity pants for comfort not size.  I can really feel my uterus is hard.  I can no longer suck my stomach in to make it look manageable.  Now I just look too fat to be able to suck it in any longer.  It's so depressing.  I just want to show already.  I have the back pain and everything else.  Why can't I have the bump.  I'm hoping soon!
