If we have a boy we are thinking Elijah Thomas (Thomas is a family name), what do you think? We also have considered Thomas Elijah but I like it the previous way best. 

Also, we have the name Parker picked out for a girl but no MN yet. 

The only MN I like so far is Grace but our LN also starts with G therefore it sounds like too much....any suggestions are welcomed. TIA

I really love the name Elijah and the nn Eli.  I also love Parker, but for a boy.  Parker on a girl is nms, but I don't hate it either.

Completely agree, Elijah is a strong masculine name.... As is Parker.

Thanks so much for all the input so far, I have been second guessing Parker as well. I like it but I don't always want people thinking she is a boy if they look at her name....

Does anyone have any new girl name ideas, easy to pronounce but not 'everyday common'?

I like your boys name. I like Parker and think it needs to be paired with a feminine girls mn. Grace is lovely. Parker Posey is one of my fave under-rated actresses.

Elijah is a nice name, but I'm another one who doesn't like Parker for a girl. It's very masculine sounding and looking. If your heart is set on it, though, then how about using it as a mn instead? Grace Parker? Grace is much less popular in the fn spot and I happen to like aliteration for first and last names.

Thanks everyone! I was having doubts about Parker and I guess that's why I asked. DH & I are trying to make a list of all the names we like. We are set on Elijah for a boy and we have Lexi on the girls list but I am at a loss for other girl names or even a mn....Thanks for all the suggestions, I am so glad that I started thinking about names so early because this could take a while!

 

We want a name picked by the time we go for the anatomy scan in a few months.

Those seem to be kinda boy-ish, but still cute, and people would assme girl, at least I would. Good luck!
